Welcome to the Connemarlins
Swim Team Website!
We are a participating
neighborhood in the Gwinnett County Swim League (GCSL). Our
team has been in GCSL for almost 20 years and are proud to
introduce kids to the joys of swimming.
Our swim team is open to anyone
between the ages of 4 and 18. The age group cut off
date is June 1, meaning what ever your childs age is as of the
first of June, that is the age group they will swim in. We
welcome all levels of swimmers, from the beginner swimmer to the
accomplished competitive swimmer.
Our season typically runs
from May thru July. After school practices
start May 14th and then transitions to morning
practices once school is dismissed for the summer around (depending
on snow makeup days)May 24th. In addition, we do
offer limited evening practices starting the Tuesday, May
29th. We have six swim
meets scheduled for each season consisting of 3 home meets and 3
away meets. All meets are held on Thursday nights. The last
swim meet for the 2012 season will be held on Tuesday, July 3rd.
The County also holds its championship meet on July 14th-15th
for qualifying swimmers.
