Welcome to the Connemarlins Swim Team Website!
We are a participating neighborhood in the Gwinnett County Swim League (GCSL). Our team has been in GCSL for almost 20 years and are proud to introduce kids to the joys of swimming.
Our swim team is open to anyone between the ages of 4 and 18. The age group cut off date is June 1, meaning what ever your childs age is as of the first of June, that is the age group they will swim in. We welcome all levels of swimmers, from the beginner swimmer to the accomplished competitive swimmer.
Our season typically runs from May thru July. After school practices start May 13th and then transitions to morning practices once school is dismissed for the summer around (depending on snow makeup days)May 23rd. In addition, we do offer limited evening practices starting the first Tuesday after school is out, May 28th. We have six swim meets scheduled for each season consisting of 3 home meets and 3 away meets. All meets are held on Thursdays with the last swim meet of the 2013 season being held on Tuesday, July 2th. The County also holds its championship meet on July 13th-14th for qualifying swimmers.
